Simmons, Stella, 91, of Wesley Chapel, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years. Survivors include her 2 daughters; Pat (Doug),& Alex; son Bob(Beverly), 5 Grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10Am at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4PM at the Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel, 968-2231. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gulfside Regional Hospice or the Humane Society of Tampa Bay in her memory.
